The Windy Moraine Trail is a 1.5 mile hilly trail loop. There is a self-guiding brochure with the theme of biodiversity is available at the trailhead. The trail goes through a field to the moraine which was left from when the last glaciers melted about 10,000 years ago. There is a modest incline through beach-maple forest and a pine plantation to the top of the hill. From the Windy Moraine Overlook , there are views of Glen Lake, the best view is when the leaves are off the trees.
